Are the fuel lines from a Jap import N/A EFI the same as the GT's ones ? I changed the lines on my mates GT today because of damage, I sourced new ones off the that breaker ! trouble is the supply pipe from the tank sits different compared to the GT one ? the GT is set close to the bulkhead but the breakers supply pipe loops up and around ? have I them fitted differently ?

all i can say is my 4wd starlets fuel lines were identical to the 4efte ones. i would imagine a normal 4efe would be the same

I must have them fitted wrong ! I've noticed a small dint in the supply pipe ! will ths cause any issues with fueling ? Whats the easiest way to refitt the lines back on the car and getting them in the right order ?

god knows. never had them off. pictures paint a thousand words. if you took pics of them before removing then would probably be a doddle.

I'am screwed then lol !!! From you're experience the union nuts on the end ! if they start to "round off " is it possible to shave the end of the pipe square
can fit a new one ?

as they are steel lines they are a bit of a bitch. you can buy tools to remake the ends, but they arent cheap.

you may need to get hold of a specialist and get them to remake the end and fit a new nut.

That shouldn't be a problem ! I was worried if there was enough pipe to do this ?

if your just cutting the flare off, replacing the nut and then re-flaring it you wouldnt loose much length. dount it would be enough to cause a fitment problem

which pipe is it and how bad is the dent? if i was you i would just fit a new section where its dented. a specialist would be able to do this for you
