Ours prices are linked to Singapore but strangely it doesn't stop prices going up on public holidays etc. I thought as electric cars and higher compression petrol engines would make more fuel supply and lower the prices but it seems Petrol Companies push the price up to keep the same profit from less fuel sales. Maybe a bit more fuel down under will keep your supplies high enough to keep the price down?

Re diesel it is linked to asthma the oil vapour coats the pollen in the air it becomes highly charged and in some atmospheric condions attracts into peoples lungs. I'm seeeing smoke from a few gti's now so maybe a city full of asthma could see a swing away from these.
