fuel rail painted now start up problem!!

hi guys!

i have recently removed my fuel rail & had it powder coated,

basically since i refitted it with new '0' rings n seals since refitted on a early morning cold start the car will not start up at first attemp but will fire up the second time at the same time makes a little whining noise for 1 sec!?

anyone have a clue what the problem may be???

also another problem, i have snapped 1 of the 2 a bolts in the head that holds down the fuel rail..

anyone knw how to remove this easily????
no leaks of fuel etc tho

maybe there was an unidentified amount of powder shit still inside the rail, so when you started it up, the particles may have lodged in your injectors, blocking it.

Did you or did they block off all holes in the rail. if not, the powder may have gone inside and baked and dislodged with contact of fuel etc.


You will have to make access to the back of the head to remove the broken bolt shaft from inside the manifold. The broken shafts should twist out.
