fueling problem

Last week i got my first ep82. i am very happy with car, however yesterday i put my foot down and after i changed gear with the revs building again the car just held back. it was like the fuel had been cut. It's been mapped @1 bar with a hks super afr unit.
Any idears or do i just buy a f.c.d.

Hey mate,

You can't be running 1.0 bar if it doesn't have a FCD as you will hit fuel cut, is that a precise figure? Could just me a mapping issues or ignition problem any more info on spec?

you sure you dont have fcd already as fuel cut is around .85 and you say ur running 1 bar

sorry i'm new to this turbo stuff as i had a honda before. the dyno says 1bar with aem control unit, oil pressure gauge sender unit, fuel pressure regulator and afr.

well you prob have an fcd with those mods id say check plugs and leads

I've checked plugs and leads and they are fine. It happened again when i tried accelerating in 5th and the management light came on for about 2 seconds. Does anyone know of a place in sussex or kent where i could get diagnostics/remap. Also if anyone has had a similar problem plz let me know.

than thats defo fuel cut cos of the 1 bar boost. dont try to do it again as it may damage your engine...

from factory at .85bar of boost (i think) it will fuel cut for "safty" your running 1 bar so your going past the factry fuel cut

just an idea but have checked the dizzy cap and rotor arm?????

I think i'll get it remaped and the boost turned down then. I have not checked the dizzy so will get it looked at when it has service at the weekend. thanks
