gapping plugs problem!

Well people!Just got round to gapping my plugs but the gap i set them to looks huge (0.7)Just wonderin is this right or am I using my guage wrong.I put from.025 To 0.7 on top of each other is this right.Sorry if this might be a bit confusing but cant think of explaining it any better.Cheers

only use the one that is marked 0.7 to gap the plugs.Not all together.

if you used a measurement of .025, that is probably an imperial measurement( 0.025 of an inch)

whereas .7 should be metric which would be .7 mm

just gapped a plug using the .7 bit on its own and the gap is very very small and the two points are almost touching does this sound right
