Garret Turbos

Im just back to the starlet world after a long hiatus. Ive been browsing through the site and noticed that the only turbo favored ar the TDO4s. I used to have a GT28R on my old car and it was too big for daily, but have been loking at the newer smaller ones. for instance the GT15. It costs about the same as an upgraded Hybrid turbo but has to be more efficiant. It also carries a standard t25 flange so the manifold collector could be a better shape. See diagram of flow rates and pictues below. Im building a car with a broad rande and hopefully about 180 right now so thats why im looking around.

looks around 215 lbs/mm at 1.2bar as shown in the chart. I dont see a GT17 turbo listed in the garret cataloges.. ah the sabb turbos..

I had a CT9/GT15 hybrid made a few years back, ran her at 1.2bar. Went well for a wee blower though a pure CT15 would be better but not much more powerful I dont think.

bro if i were you i would try the gt 25. not much lag and since it is ball bearing would spool up pretty fast. And you can run up to 1.6 bar maxed out at 270bhp
