Gas explosion in Blackrock, Dublin.

Just heard that about a, suspected, gas explosion in Blackrock about 20 minutes ago. A house (not sure if it was a residential building or if it was being used as business premises) collapsed and is now a pile of rubble.

It happened near enough to Maxwell Motors, for anyone that knows the area. Not sure if anyone was inured or killed as it hasn't made the news yet.

It turned out to be not quite as bad as I had been led to believe..

One of the lads in work said his wife phoned him and said "she had just seen this massive explosion and then two buildings collapse..".. "there were bodies lying out on the road.."

Slight exaggeration on his part.. haha

I blame the recession!

I would also like to take this opportunity to blame the recession. In fact I want to blame this explosion on causing the recession and drop in house prices.
