gear box oil

Hi all i have seached for it but want to be sure just borght an aftermarket trd lsd gear box what oil should i use i see some people use 75w90 redline oil but it says -

This product is not designed for use in most manual transmissions or tranaxles, since the extreme slipperiness may cause synchronizer mesh issues that lead to shifting problems.

???? any guidence would be gr8 thx

It'll depend whether it's a mechanical or helical LSD. A mechanical diff requires specific oil, where as a helical diff can be used with the standard run of the mill 75w90 fluid.
