Gearbox crunching and not smooth

Hi guys,

My car is a Glanza V and I had new clutch and pressure plate fitted two weeks ago. This morning on my daily drive to work, I noticed that it was not falling into gear smoothly. That is I have to really push the stick into gear and also theres a grinding noise when tyring to go into 3rd. It seemed as if it was slightly better at low speeds, however when overtaking etc, theres a real stiffness in getting into gear.

The transmission oil was also replaced.

Appreciate your input on what may be the cause. I hope it wont be an expensive affair

did ya put the correct oil into it

if it was ok before it could be either the oil is wrong, or the clutch needs bleeding. if it has happened suddenly, its most likely the clutch hydraulic system needs looking at.

Thanks for your response. The oil used was the recommended. I was told it may be a case of faulty synchromesh? Sorry for being a noob but could this be a reason? And also it was much better once the oils were well warmed up.
