oh god guys lol. i have consideredf getting a already done starbo ab sellin up. am i going too get the feeling of pride tho as i would if i was too do things myself etc?

i did look at some but nothing out there that takes my fancy.

an theres o other cars that i can buy for that, which cost similar too tax, run,insure etc.

only other car ive been intrested in is a scooby or an evo. but runnin costs might be too high :(

i know the feeling lol always nice to build up our own and everything but from being there and going trough it all i personally would buy one already done obviously everyone is different so its your call :)

again thats your call lol im happy i got out at the time i did but i still think id get another one very few cars have the fun factor they have , driving an altezza at the moment is a big change and rwd is fun but im thinking that a subaru legacy is next for me

id have a good long think about it as if that 5k goes into the starlet you will be lucky to get 3k back if you change your mind :)

i know dude, i like the fact there so underestimated. which makes me wanna keep it or get another.

ricky lee td04 kit? with a link g4 atom ecu, which has boost controlelr built in. set too 1bar on standard internals, maybe 1.2 ;) an then build up my forged enigne as an when?

sound like a good idea?

Mate if I had done things differently I would have kept my WEPR TD04 kit 1.2 bar on stock internals but with decent brakes, suspension and chassis mods make it look the tits. Once you go past a certain point you open up a whole different world and I think you'd end up spending well over 5k eventually.

You are saying about a biggger car well thts up to you or personal opinion, I never looked back once I bought the P1 , but miss the easy going life of the Starlet and the way you could abuse it and not worry to much if you pranged it.

yea, im thinking a ricky lee td04 kit, possibly a link g4 management, on the standard engine. at 1.2 bar. is that do able an safe too do?

an then i ould like too go forged as power can be upped etc an then obviosuly i can adapt diffrent things as an when.

would i need uprated injectors also for the 1.2 bar on standrad internals?

It's up to you, but me personally I'd prefer to put the money into my own car that way you would know the work was done right,
Whereas you could spend your money on another gt with the work already done not knowing what kind of job was done on it and end up in a worse situation throwing more money at it to get it right (obviously not always the case but its the risk you take).
I've owned other cars while I've had my gt, evos and ss3s and that but the running costs and cost of parts for these cars takes the fun out of owning them.
But at the end of the day its up to you, just thought Id add my opinion for what its worth

right on the thurbo kit side of things guys. these are the ideas.

ricky lee td04 kit. offers a complete kit ready too fit, time scale around 2-3 weeks maybe? opinions on runnin on on my standard internals untill forged engine is alldone?

zisco kit, all included except the turbo itself, good price from what ibe been offered around a week waiting time. would have too sourse a turbo an tial w/g

an a wepr kit. everything included but this is a hybrid kit. opinions on this turbo? thanks

Easy choice for me, WEPR. We've got the Hybrid running on our black car and its a great turbo, pulls slightly harder than a regular td04. For me its a perfect fast road setup, doesnt hang about on track and 1/4 mile.

The biggest bonus is it looks bloody awesome :rockon:

i have heard that the hybrid version, has more torque that the regular td04, but not same power bhp?

what they capable of?
