Hey mate seriously tempted by the gearbox, im just worried it may need money spent on it to make it perfect working order again, when you said it made a noise was it only when you had the clutch peddle depressed as that is most likely the release bearing but if it was all the time even when the clutch was out it could be something more serious! Seriously tempted tho and if you cant post it i will arrang pick up!

My response for others that may be interested:

The noise was there on idle..it dissapeared when you DIPPED the clutch..which is release bearing.

I have asked around and if they are really shot, they can make a noise while driving too and I did hear some bearing noise while driving.

When I took the release bearing off it was totally fucked so likely that but I cant be 100% sure.

I guess it would need to be pallet delivery? I dont have access to a pallet or belts though, thats the thing.
