lol, put a new carpet down in my car yesterday, what do you guys think? i love it :D been wanting to do this for a while now, i fit carpets for a living but f*uck me that was really hard, and i know the seats dont go very well with it lol

since taking these pics iv replaced the drivers footwell because i made a wee boo boo lol

absolute nightmare m8
contract carpet its actually for offices and shit took a while to source it in red tho lol i get on well with some of the carpet supliers and he got me it cheap

thanks bud, iv got some red bucket seats but theyre fixed back and i have a baby, car seat wont go in the back and doesnt fit in the seat, would love some red recaros but skint at the mo lol i might get my standard seats retrimmed

will have to get sum pics up once u got the seats sorted! will look awesome with that carpet tho!

I love the idea behind it however the Red against the grey is just too much once you get some bucket seats in there or maybe re-cloth the standard seat it will look much better.
My plans for the inside of mine is Black carpet along with 2 black buckets for the front and the back seat re-stitched in black, then was thinking of a black dash and door cards....I love black.lol.:haha:

I like the idea of it man well done, you did a fine job with it, for me too the red is a bit too much but I was thinking of putting black carpet in mine, if its too tough though I wouldn't bother!!



How did ya go about it? did ya take out the seats and how did you make it stick in place? Glue or pins or something? You really did do a good job man!!

LOL I know.haha. I just really dont like the whole Grey interior at all makes the car look really old. I understand thats the way it was back then but it aint back then now.lol. Never seen anyone changing the dash so wouldnt mind giving it a go may even redesign it to make it look a bit better. That coupled with carbo fibre centre console, dial surround and electric window controls should be sweet!!

took everything out and used marine glue, for fitting carpets on boats, shaping it round everything is the hard part, the bit that the seats bolt onto i decided not to cover as it was 2 hard to get it sitting properly and it gives the the option to lift out the footwells and replace them if they get too dirty or worn, i just painted those parts blak so you can hardly see them
