Hehe, iva malti jien :)

Well considering petrol is very expensive in malta, 20 euros doing 220 km is not that bad...and you have a bigger turbo....

i am getting tempted ..... :)

I know some for sale too...i wish it to be black, white or there is that blue which is also very very nice, i think like the one in your pic. The problem is finding a really good one, almost standard.

You think there are left some good ones on the island? without ever being involved in an accident still with factory paint all around?

hah that would be a big prob dude! the ones i know many glanzas and GTs and almost none of them still have the factory paint! or never been retouched.

why would you want a car that has factory paint allround? as long as its mechanicly working good and in good condition bodywise thats all you want!

mine is the blue factory colour but your going to strugle to find one for sale. i was one of the few lucky ones!

and the biggest problems is finding one that is standard! haha... not much left bud! the one i know has rrfpr and fcd only.

I see... :-( .... you know, I feel sorry because when they started importing them from Jap, i was in the age of 17 yrs...still school, and i really really wanted one, but I did not have the money ..... then i went to university and I went even more broke.... then there was that time when glanza were black-listed in insurance companies etc.....and now when I finished university and found a decent job, I cannot find the glanza I wish i bought 6 years ago........

However i hear that some glanza owner just bought a glanza and takes care of it so much that they don't even take it our for a ride etc.....many Maltese people tend to do this right. Maybe I will be lucky for once.

they are STILL black listed... you need to be 21+ to insure them.

yeah i know of some that the glanza never seen daylight. but to me thats just proper madness. i got a glanza to have fun with it and enjoy it as much as i can! today im here tomorow i dont know where im gonna be...

you can import them from the UK. but i dont like the fact that they are all rusted from under the car. its just surfice rust but i dont want a car that has rust if tou know what i mean.

how expensive is fuel over there? must be about the same as here as i average 200km to £20

Well here if i am not mistaken, for unleaded fuel is around Euro 1.15/Litre ...and the quality of the fuel is very bad with low octane level....

Well, i am 23 going into 24yrs so, i should be fine....yes I agree with you, i buy a car to have fun with it and that it. Yes I heard a couple of problems with rust about UK imports, especially German cars making lots of use of magnesium components.....

Well, if i am lucky i find a good one, if not, i end up with something else.... I hear these new Mitsubishi Colt 1.5 Turbo 150bhp are like the new Glanza's , tunable, Japanese.....but slightly heavier.....but still in production.

True, they are fast....and if you drive it well, the on board computer says you are doing 40mpg which is really good....however they are uk imports, 2006 and around Lm5400.

True, blue colour is rare and also red is very rare on glanza's...MX-5 is a different feeling because its a roadster. I my self love roadsters but you restricted to 2 seats only. Mx-5 is very nice....so is the BMW Z3.....

i wondered when i got mine what it would be like, i drove 258 miles for £30 of fuel(thats the tank on my gt full, thats fuel at £1 per litre) sure that works out around 64KMPG, or 40MPG for people working i MPH, and for a 1.3 turbo, i think thats pretty good, thats all motorway miles at 70-80mph

cheers
