Glanza idling at 2000rpm and temp guage acting up

Hi guys

My Glanza has been acting strange latley, she's been idling at 2000rpm and if i drive on a motorway my temp guage drops all the way down to "C"
If i stick my clutch in while im driving the revs jump up and down between 1000 and 2000rpm HELP!!!

I was thinking its my thermostat, any ideas???

Thermostat can cause the temp gauge to drop when diving, high idle could be a vacuum hose leak after the throttle body.

the idle problem could also be icv (idle control valve) or tps (throttle position sensor) you can try to turn the idle speed screw on top of inlet under rubber bunge near strutbrace (flat head screw) to see if it helps the idle

Yeah I had that. Stick the heater on recirculate and see if the temperature stays up longer as well.

Thanks guys, im battling to find a thermostat for my Glanza here in Bots...
With regards to the idling i will check it out now as im fitting my FMIC

Corolla, Tercel and Glanza thermostats are all the same, any 4EFE one is the same.
