Glanza sometimes stutters/cuts when accelerating?

Just got back in my Glanza today after it being off the road for about 2 years! Passed the M.O.T this morning and appears to be running o.k most of the time. Only problem i have had is it sometimes stutters under acceleration, usually when its around 4000-6000rpm. I understand its been stood for a long time and i've only started it up a handful of times while its been off road, i was hoping it might go away after a few good runs and i'm going to change the oil, filter, check spark plugs etc tomorrow. When i say stutters its mainly noticeable because of a change of sound in the exhaust, it only happens for a split second or so and then kicks back in fully. Anyone had this before or have an idea of how to cure it? Thanks, Josh

sounds ignition related. if its been sitting for a while, then i would check all your ground points and plugs/connections first.

go over the ignition system next. leads, plugs, distributor cap and rotor arm.

take it for a good run to make sure any dampness is gone, as that can cause issues if its been sitting around a while!?

Yep gonna do plenty of checks tomorrow and replace some bits...the only mods i have is exhaust and air filter, do you think its could be fuel cut or is that different? Pretty new to Glanza's as you can probably tell!

2 years no oil change, that's really bad even if you didn't drive a car! That would've been the 1st thing for me to do!

Have you got a boost gauge? you might experience a boost creep in this weather!

could be fuel cut. does the engine light flash on when it happens? you could check your ecu codes as that will tell you if its fuel cut or not
