atmospheric venting

do you have a catch-can/crankcase breather venting to the atmosphere..? i get some of that too some time. it's very noticeable especially since my hood is vented too so i could get high on petrol if i chose to.. :D lol

fuel rail/injectors

is the smell there all the time or only when you are booting it..? if only when giving it the beans then perhaps your fuel injector/rail seals are on their way out and are giving off some petrol. it would be hard to catch these leaks coz of the volatility of fuel given that it will/may have evaporated by the time you are checking, especially if your engine bay is hot..

Mines really strong burnt fuel and can actually breath out the fumes in the car sometimes lol need to get it sorted and not sure where to start. I cleaned out the catch tank and found no difference. Overfueling?

check the pipes to the evap canister try bypassing the canister also, i started getting the smell of fuel in mine when i took the evap canister out completely so its possible its either blocked, pipe split or hanging off. also check the fuel return line make sure that nice an tight.
