gt engine in glanza

right the engine in my glanza has just gone bang, have a gt engine on its way. do i need to change anything on the gt engine to fit in to the glanza? rep for help, cheers

some sensors different so keep your own glanza inlet mani and thermo housing, bolt them onto the gt engine. not sure about knock sensor and alternator

went through a ford, water in engine and blew a hole in the side of the crankcase, im so pissed off!

ur second one in essex to do this, water in engine, turbo fever had same prob.
couple sensors need swapping mate,
so keep ur glanza inlet and other sensors.
shouldnt be too many to swap tho fella.
im still amazed water gets in the 4e.lol

The glanza thermostat housing is different to the EP82 you will need to swap it or your rad hose wont fit on.

Knock sensor etc are all the same, there may be one or two pipes which connect differently on the inlet mani but its easy to work out.

nice one mate, tried addin rep but it says i gotta spread some more around first. air filter behind the grill is what done it, hope the turbo isnt screwed

im running same set up on my td04,
but i aint gone threw a ford, as none around southend.lol
thermo housing is different, but i think u can get the pipes to squeeze over,
dont quote me tho.lol
but sure there a shop near you that do a pipe if u need it.

similar prob to my front mount pipe atm.lol
but if u get a length cut, then u can manipulate it to fit paddy.
altho swapping the thermo housing over will solve this.
just remeber to give the new lump frsh oil,
and crank her over before first start up.

i got 2 complete engines to play with now, sure i can sort it out, was thinking going td04 myself, what ui think of it? im running 180bhp and not sure if i wanted much more poer through the front wheels. cheers for help all :beer:

td04 once mappe mate, makes ur smile even larger.
and power thur front wheels, i get grip in 2nd mate and im running a bar.
not atm cus of boost leak i suspect.
but defo worth doing mate.
aint as laggy as ppl make out.

when my forged went bang i brought a gt lump to drop in out of my mates ep82 and we changed all the inlet manifold,gearbox,clutch everything that was salvageable off my forged and it dropped straight in all we had to change was the water temp sensor and she fired up 1st time!
