Gt starlet exhaust fit a glanza

Hi guys, My Glanza has been de-cated and i'm puttin it in for the nct in two weeks.

I know a guy that is breaking a gt and he has a full exhaust system. Does anyone know if the exhaust will fit onto a glanza ok or is there a bit of chopping and changing to do?

The exhaust follows the same path but you will need to change the position of the hangers

the muffler box mounting points are different

Would it not be an easier solution for you to just get hold of a standard cat?

By the sounds of things, may be wrong, it sounds like you think the cat is part of the actual exhaust system, its a seperate unit just before the exhaust, so changing it will make no difference. You might know this and mean your replacing that part too but wanted to make sure. Also the hangers will need replacing to change exhausts

are the rules different down south? my car has passed MOT twice up here with no CAT.

I could solve the problem with the NCT if i just get a cat but when i was looking under the car i noticed a few kinks in the pipes because of the way it was welded so i thought it would just be easier to change the whole system. They wont pass your NCT down here if you have no cat
