Will this turbo be very laggy on a 4e?

More than a td04l?

When will it start spool?

My setup is

Ross 74,5 low comp. pistions
pauter rods
1,2mm metal head gasket
speedvision valve springs
fmic with 50mm and 60mm hard piping
mazda rx7 injectors 460cc
e-manage ultimate
Blitz sbc spec r i-color boost controller
innovate wideband lampda
impreza k&n filter
tm development racespec valvecover with catch can
ultra blue ignition wires
greddy spark plugs head range 7

should i go for this turbo?
Or where can i get a good td04l because my td04 oils a lot!

hi mate. i had a td04 and that was a wicked turbo for the 4e. i would imagine a gt2871r ball bearing would have a fair bit of lag on a 4e. speak to dantheman. he had a starlet with this turbo setup. must be a bit of a lagmonster, i think dans was hitting full whack at 5000-5500rpm, but made well over 300bhp tho. and ya can get a td04 turbo from loads places. any trader on here would probz be able to get one for u.

It IS more laggy then a TD04 even though is ball bearing. Its much larger then TD04. That turbo is suited for 2.0 litres upwards to get good power from low down all the way through. 4e will spool it but you will have loads of lag then loads of power.

Personally i dont think its a nice choice for the 4E. Too big IMO.
