Quite interesting to see the before and after graphs wasn't it !

Totally agree with taking dyno figures with a pinch of salt, the only real way is an engine dyno (which incidentally we have too).

Our Maha dyno is more expensive than the dyno dynamics as it calculates transmission losses on a rundown. Morally I feel this is correct compared to other dynos that add an arbitrary percentage, but in reality it's not always practical. There are so many factors to add into the transmission loss, tyres, geometry, diff, gearbox etc etc etc. For me a dyno is simply a tool for tuning cars in safety at high speeds ! Unlike the dyno dynamics, ours is calibrated to 200mph so we can map cars like big single turbo supras in 1:1 gear ratio. We regularly see 180+mph :eek:

181 at the wheels with that boost is fine, and what actually matters is that it drives better :cool:
