Handling different between Glanza S and Glanza V

I recently drive one of my friend who has a Glanza V and I have a Glanza S that the 4efe was swapped for the 4efte. One of the differences that I noticed with the cars was the handling. The V handling feels alot tighter and firmer. We both have strut bars for the front and back & both cars are lowered. Can anyone tell me exactly where the difference is?

Thanks

Could be the suspension dampers, you say they are lowered? Are they lowered on springs or coilovers? Might just be the way the settings are?

Also what type/size of alloy/tyre are they running, might make a difference in traction etc.

Glanza V
Lowering Springs (I dont know the brand)
Goodyear F1 (purchased this year)
Alloys - 185/55/14 (i think it is 55)

Glanza S
Ksport Coilovers (not drop as low as the V)
Proxes 4 (purchased this year)
Alloys 195/50/15

My S feels alot more stable especially a high speeds but the feel of the steering wheel in my hand is really different.

Thanks for the response.

wel the other one is lower so it will feel tight round the corners and if his shockes are harder or his springs it will feel better through corners

There's alot more to it than modifications.
Have you changed any bushes on your car? These could be excessively worn
You say you have coilovers, have they been properly set up? Ie has the car been balanced and had toe, castor and camber set?
His suspension/steering components might be in better condition than yours.
On paper yours should out handle it by far.

Maybe try making your car a little lower and harder.
Also does the V have LSD?

No it does not.

I have upgraded the swaybar end link bushings to the poly ones. Yes the coilovers has been set up properly with the toe, castor and camber set to the factory settings.

I know on paper mine should be better that is why I was shocked to feel the differences.

But Alan as you said it may the condition of his components compared to mine. Or maybe it is my imagination. However, I thinking there was something from the factory that was making the difference.

two different suspension/wheel setup will result in two different handeling.
nothing to do with the fact one was a S version while the other is a V

i dont think that any two cars handle the same..but it all depeds on how much work has gone into the suspension and if it has been set up correctly

all ep91 chassis are identical, it all depends on what aftermarket parts they got (or more simply, if they are properly aligned and how)

Possibly because the K-sport damper have too much rebound damping force, and therefore it is harder but not as stable as it doesn't let the wheel "grip" the ground as well... it depends on the road that you are driving on also.

Also, the V using 185/55/14 will have a smaller total diameter than a 195/50/15, so that could change how the car feels also.

Remember, the only thing that touch the ground is the tyres, so wheel choice and tyre choice both make a difference to how the car feel and behave along with suspension.
