has anyone done a nurburgring trip?

Really want to take my gt out for a few laps of the ring!, has anyone on here done the trip out there?
just wondering is there a decent tour guide to book with or are we better off just making our own way out there!
I imagine theres plenty of hotels and stuff nearby so that wouldnt be to hard to sort out?

Anyone else interested in a trip out there? any info would be great

yes i have, 3 times now.

the local town about 5km away is adenau and we stayed there each time. we stayed in a place called ring villa which is bed and breakfast and brilliant owner. depends how close you want to be, there are a few hotels just up the road in nurburg but there isnt much there other wise.
Adenau has a few bars, lots of restaurants and shops

can travel by tunnel or ferry, we chose tunnell as its only 3 minutes and the price is similar.
