i *think* the coolant overflow fills up aswell once the headgasket is gone but not sure.

Does your fan kick in properly?

Thermostat stuck?

Water in the rad?

Leaking rad?

many things

Use proper punctuation and sentence structure Tommy, it will allow us to help you much more effectively.

GTnomez is up early in the morning trying his best to help and all you can give him is this mish mash?

Help us help you.

Under load is when you see the coolant overflow? I've seen this before. In my opinion the headgasket is at fault. Not so much that the oil and coolant galleries are mixing, but enough that your cooling system is getting pressurized under load. This is common as the water jacket is closest to the bore, it gets blown out first.

Do you notice any white smoke under load?

Like clys said you can experience the symptoms only when under certain boost pressure, this is exactly what ours did on the k24 gt. It would only fill up the expansion bottle under a certain amount of boost pressure and then maintain at that coolant level and even though the rad wasn't as full as it should be the car would never ever overheat. Nor did we have any of the other sypmtoms.

We got a headgasket sniffer test but be careful when using as we only got a positive result after we had given the car a good blast and made it boost hard, otherwise the test showed negative if you only did it on an idle warm up.

My gt had the exact same symtoms when I bought it. No immediate signs that the head gasket had gone i.e no creamy substance under oil cap so I thought it was my radiator, cap or thermo. Changed all three and still overheated. Got a compression test done and sniff test and revealed low compression in cylinder 3 and pressurised coolant system. Whipped the head off and the gasket had perished between water jacket and cylinder 3 like clys mentioned above. Drove fine until i hit boost and temps would fly up.

Personally I wouldnt have the fan on the whole time as the engine wont be running at optimal temperatures. The fan should only kick in once it gets too hot.

I'd get the gaskets changed A.S.A.P before you cook it and do more damage

im takeing it really easy in it and im not letting it hit boost.im getting the head gasket done monday

drain the coolant and see if you have oil in it. take the theomostat out put it in boiling water make sure thats opening if you find a fault sounds like your have to do head gasket any way if keeps over heating witch aint good
