refitting head bolts....i just noticed that thr is five long and five short!?
do the long bolts go in the inlet side or exhaust side of the head???

also...can i reuse the old head blots???....all are in good condition havnt bin run and have no cracks!

longer head bolts to the front of the engine im pretty sure mate.

you can see just by looking at the angle that the head sits on the block which is which

Yes, stretch bolts should be replaced

always better to change the bolts when doing the headgasket as if there bad youll just be taking it back off and buying another headgasket

the oem bolts should only be torqued down once.. besides they only cost a few quid, so always worth replacing
