Headlight Reminder Problem?

When you leave your headlights on and usually makes a melody to reminde you that they are on, only posting this as my battery went dead the other day due to this not working.. anyone got any ideas why this dont work? or will my 97' Glanza V not even have one?

Any help appreciated?

Cheers

Did your interior light come on? As when I open my door the switch is a bit tempermental, so if I open the door it still thinks it's closed so doesn't make the noise and I leave the lights on.

Also a turbo timer can have teh same effect I think.

Fucks sake, don't tell me that these cars make a sound when the lights are left on??

Mine has never made a sound, 96 Glanza V, is this supposed to work?

I've left the lights on by accident loads of times lol

Should make a sound but remember it doesn't if you have a turbo timer active! Seen a few folk make that mistake

There is a buzzer under the dash at the drivers side, the plug is probably pulled off it as it also operates when you leave your keys in the ignition and open the door.

That will do your fucking head in when it goes off in your ear for more than 30 seconds if you are working in the footwell with the door open.

Haha, cheers John must take a wee look. I don't have a turbo timer so maybe its unplugged? Does it use a fuse or anything?

What does the buzzer and the plug look like? And where is it exactly?

Cos mine's has never worked, and when I open my door, the interior light comes on.

Cheers,
Al.
