Help fitting Defi BF Tachometer

I'm trying to fit a Defi BF Tachometer - it is a standalone tachometer and does not need to be connected to the Defi Link control unit.

I have most of the wires connected apart from the RPM signal - the instructions state the following:

"The wave form of the engine speed signal should meet the requirements of Graph1 or Graph2."

I am unsure which colour wire to connect (blue or light blue) because I do not know which wave form our engine speed signal produces.

From looking at some Apexi documentation I believe I would connect one of these wires to the following ECU wire: (is this correct?)

Has anyone fitted one of these units to an EP and if so can you confirm which wires to use?

yep all it needs is an rpm signal i would go off the pics u put up

whats the worst thats gonna happen, u gonna get wrong rpm readouts then u know its the other wire

If you have an 82....Use PIN 21 on the 26 Pin Plug...
