Compression test is the next step buddy ;)

That'll rule out the bottom end, headgasket and headgear.

After that I'd be looking at plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, king lead, ignitor pack.

its not hard to do yourself with a paper clip just brigding over 2 terminals no special machine needed tells you on this site, then just read the flashes convert it to codes & put it on here & we can tell you were the problem is, it definetly sounds ignition related have you played about with anything on it recently.
