just had car rollin roaded and ive been told air fuel mix is to week. also engine manegment light comes on when i put my foot down in 3rd 4th n 5th and fuel cut comes in help what to do??? was recomended piggy back ecu n re map? got bout £700 to spend n e idears. mods done frount mount, cat back exhast, dump valve n lowerd on 15"s. runs 140bhp at 13psi.

fuel cut defencer and rrfpr. if your willing to spend more then something like greddy blue emanage. i have fcd, rrfpr, fmic, running 160bhp at 1bar without decat and manifold fitted (yet) lol. this will increase its power to hopefully 180 bhp. what power you looking for?

looking for it to b reliable 150 160bhp. whats rrfpr, rrfpr, fmic. how much will that set me back? just to add ive got 1996 glanza model.

rrfpr is rising rate fuel pressure regulator and fmic front mounted intercooler mate. your find a rrfpr on here easily but make sure to have fuel cut defencer. i have a jam one but hks are just as good. your pick rrfpr for £60-£100 and fuel cut defencer £50-£80. 2nd hand. then a good setup on the rollers mate.

I'd personally look into spending less, sorting the small amount of boost creep you have, reduce the boost a little using an uprated actuator and stay under fuel cut for now as the stock ECU will be fine, make the most out of what you have.

Whats your full spec, list it here. If you don't have an uprated manifold, decat, exhaust, filter, still using the stock top mount etc then fitting engine mangement is a little pointless imo at this stage. If you've already done all this then fair play.

front mount, apex-i air filter, cat back exhust, dump valve, turbo timer n lowerd on 15" rota wheels. fuel cut cums in worse when its f**kin cold out side i've noticed?

Hopefully 1st week of feb, pretty much up to date just making changes on the website, all will be revealed soon.

Fitting new mangement is never a bad thing but you need to make boost stable otherwise it's very hard for the mapper to get it right

You also need an uprated manifold as again this is a huge weak point when pushing the boundries. With those mods this is what I would personally do:

Uprated Actuator to counteract mods, you can reduce boost and stay under fuel cut. Running around 10spi should cure it, how much creep are you getting now do you have a boost gauge?

Uprated Manifold

Decat

You can then use the actuator to reduce boost as the above will raise peak pressure slightly. Once you are inhaling and expelling gases efficiently with consistant boost you can look into a pump and management but I would sort the brakes and chassis before you do this. You can add perfomance without adding bhp if you see where I'm coming from but everyone will have different routes.

You could just get a FCD and FPR to be honest but again it's a little crude and not what I would do either especially on a stock manifold, you will also run rich just to allow enough fuel for peak pressure. Management at this stage would be a better option but again just my opinion. You will get more creep on cold days and in later gears (e.g on a motorway) as the air is denser.

ok so manifold, decat, uprated actuator n fcd? yes got boost guage says its running 12 to 13 psi is that standerd. foctory boost controler has been bye pasted aswell. what do u meen by creep? thanks dave.
