Help with laptop problem please!

Hope someone can please help.

I bought a new laptop yesterday but am having problems on here since. When i click on new posts its only displaying the thread with the old posts. If i press the last post button to the right of the thread it will display the newest posts in the thread eventually but if i browse for a while and just hit new post as i have always done it only shows the posts i have already read, even though the thread is showing new posts. I gather its just something in the settings but i dont know what. Im using windows seven and internet explorer 8. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try mozilla or safe mode in IE8

It doesnt sound to be a problem with the laptop to be honest.

Oh and make sure cookies is turned on,should be in the tools>privacy area.Make sure they're on and the duration is set for a few weeks.

Found the problem. Went into the internet options section like you said and noticed I turned the "check for newer versions of stored pages" to never by mistake yesterday while setting things up. I set cookies too. Im downloading firefox now to give it a try as I hear alot of people are using it. Thanks for your help dude. Repped!!
