help!

k the voltage meter on my turbo timer is going mad, the volts keep jumping up to 16 volts and the radio keeps coming on and off, wont stay on and lights flash on and off on the dash??

sounds like u hav a loose wire some were take it out and hav a look were is ur raido wired to has it been taped in to another wire ???

ill av a look, pretty sure ive only 1 wire taped up, its 1 to bypass using the dvd player while driving, but woud thats mess with the volts ya?

Check the charging voltage of the alternator at the battery terminals with the engine above 2000rpm, it could be over charging. If you see anymore than 15v then you need to either replace the alternator or change the voltage regulator that's mounted on the back of it.

yes theres a voltage meter on the turbo timer and its going over the 15v so its over charging! is this doing damage while im driving the car?
