hesitation when putting foot down

right this started the other day when i put foot down say second gear at 3k revs it hesitates and lyk back fires through exhaust but at 6k it stops and pulls fine, its really weird, i changed HT leads wot else could it be, i think its electrical guna change plugs next but wot after that

plugs. disi cap, rotor arm. also check fuel filter if it hasnt been done recently

ditto with what dac says, check all spark related units first if thats not it could be something more sinister:flame:

where is the fuel filter, and dizy cap and rotor arm are these expensive

expect to pay about 120 quid with the labour at a local garage to replace them all, if your doing them yourself it isnt so expensive

on the firewall. follw the fuel line back from the fuel rail

also forgot to mention that my therostat is broke cos my temp goes down wen i drive but goes bout half way wen stood still
