could have been sending incorrect readings to the ecu. when mines was buggered i had a hunting idle and hesitation on moving off

Of course it'll make a difference!!! I think your confusing it with the CAT temp sensor.

na honestly, my decat only has a lambda bung in it. i accidentally broke the wire connecting it while working on the car, dint make a difference at all, honestly. i reconnected the wire today, and its still the same, weird.

dint seem to be? but my fuel consumptions never been great.

only thing i can think of is if the lambdas fucked it'l obviously make no difference if its hooked up or not. maybe its time for a new one lol.

sorry to spam ure thread, glad problems fixed.

yes. running wont be affected by the O2 sensor.

you will only really notice worse fuel consumption on constant throttle or idle as thats the only time it really does alot.
if you only do short journeys and have slow down and accelerate alot you probably wouldnt notice that your lambda is knackered

probably not a terrible thing anyways as been told my car runs a little bit lean. the car runs quick and im not to worried about it. thanks for info tho

the lambda doesnt do anything over around 3k rpm. running without will just make it run rich anything under that, the ecu wont be able to pull the fuel about to have better mpg with it disconnected
