yeah man definatly, uve done bloody well there mate, got ure self a seriously good car, owned by an enthusiast, not an idiot, enjoy! ;)

but also a word of caution, unless ure use'd to fast cars, which u may well be, its a big step up from ure MG, a near standard glanza was a big step up for me when i used to have a 1.6 zetec-s, so go easy out there and keep it out the hedges :D

yeah i took her out n on low boost it scared me the steering snapped at me, i need to grow out of the boy racer i used to be n wise up. its had a huge manifold put on it and been heat wrapped since the 210bhp dyno but i have paper work saying its got 200.1bhp : / so im not sure what its running or weather it has forge internals whats the best boost to have it coz as u know ive never owned a turbo i got her for £5000 cash not £5300 : ) having a huge service thursday next week the camber is out sooo bad on it the fronts have gone from bold to canvas : /

OK... Firstly, let me say, well done on getting yourself a good Glanza.

Secondly, let me say... If you hurt my old car then I will hunt you down... DO NOT drive it like a crappy ZR. This car will kill you if you do not give it the respect it deserves. Take it slowly, get used to it, and learn. On boost, the diff will grab hold and take you to the other side of the road for fun. Get used to it, and learn to predict it before you start to use her properly...

Oh yeah, welcome to the site by the way... ;)

dont worry ive grown up ALOT since owning her being 2 days lol, always let her warm up n the turbo timer is set for 40 seconds atm due to im not on the road with it yet so its sat on my drive. also id love to know how you got 211bhp from her as ive looked all through the history and i cant find a print out the only print out i have is 200.1 bhp. it needs some paint work doing the wheels r gunna be refurbished too, she has also lost her shine which will be bak when me n the lads jump on it this weekend hopefully. ; )

She was tuned to 211bhp @ 1.0bar using an Apexi Power FC. Ideally, you'd be best getting some form of engine/fuel management in there (E-manage ultimate etc) to smooth out the boost and fueling. I never opened her up internally, but I suspect that she doesn't have forged internals. The K24's best suited to just over the 200bhp mark, and the internals should be fine @ 1.0bar. Don't raise her any higher as a) we tried at the tuners and she didn't make any more power, and b) it's safer for the engine.

ok so all my friends are asking about the ecu too if its stand alone and if its been remapped. So never go over 1.0bar and an every day bar should be ? thanks alot for all your welcomes and help im learning more and more about her.

The ECU is a tuned/remapped original. 1.0bar is fine for everything chap, but as I say, get some form of stand-alone in there, get her to a tuners with a rolling road, get her nicely sorted boost and fuel wise, and you'll have a happy car and a happy driver.

ok so your saying best get a stand alone ECU going on and a re Map. so i can drive it everyday on 1 bar and it will be sort of ok on my fuel and engine wear. the old owner said to keep it a 0.5 i think when doing normal driving and 1.1 for other reasons lol. he also said let it warm up to 70'C and check tyre pressure every week. now the camber on the car is like rite out on it so its made the inside of the tyres wear to bold and in some places canvas is showing now is this setup for handeling or does it need addressing.

Once I had the car mapped, I didn't bother adjusting the boost, I just left it as I knew it was safe, and I was used to the car and could control its wild side. It might be an idea to wind down the boost whilst you get used to it and for everyday driving, but I'd go no higher than 1.0bar for your fun...

As for the camber, it does have a good degree of negative camber at the front for better handling, but if you're ensure about it, get it checked somewhere decent, that knows about modified cars. As for the tyres, they left my garage in good condition... :(

ok well thursday next week its going in for new mintex pads which btw the discs are scorched on the front and where can i get them from becasue places like motorserve dont do them. coolant change which is the best colour to put in as well please, 5 40 mobile 1 oil, .5 brake fluid and new sparks also what the best sparks to put in. ive made a huge list of what to put in the car does and dont and now that if i damage the car im gunna be hunted down lol, which i wont i honestly am a clean freak jet wash the underneath of the car and clean the wheel arches wheel and engine bay although the engine is very compact lol. also would i ruin the cars looks if i put HIDs on it not blue but the normal 6k i think.

Check out the Traders section on the forum, and you'll find lots of people selling all the bits you'll need. As for HID's, the Japs like the normal 6k, so you won't get lynched. Finding the space to put them in might be a problem however... ;)
