can anyone help i removed boost restriction on my standard glanza now the engine management light is on,is it still safe to use?thanx in advance

sounds silly, but you did join it up with a bit of hose after removal? failing that, unplug the battery and leave for a while to resest the ecu and see if that cures it! you might even be hitting fuel cut if the boost is to high so turn it down if you can

yeah loop the hoses same as the guide.il try reseting the ecu.do u think i might need a fcd?

was the light on from the moment you took the solinoid off? or did it come on after you went and boosted a bit?

yeah after i boosted going up slip road..

a possible sign of fuel cut, did the car feel like it jolted slightly?

no every thing felt ok apart from the light coming on

can you adjust the boost at all? if so, turn it down a bit and see how you get on
