Using Jay's info here:

Right, in relation to the 4EFTE and based on previous experience:

Every week : check lights, levels and tyre pressures/condition.

Every 5,000 km renew the oil. Further info
Every 5,000 km remove, clean and inspect the air filter, renew if required.
Every 10,000 km replace the oil filter - Further info
Every 10,000 km check the sparkplugs and renew if required.

Every 12 months check alignment and camber. Adjust geometry as required.
Every 12 months replace fuel filter. Further info
Every 12 months renew coolant. Further info

Every 24 months renew brake fluid.

Every 6 years/100,000 km (whichever occurs first) replace timing belt & ancillary belts - Further info

Dosent cost too much mate. Have a look at some prices here:

Not too much money is needed to maintain.... just when you start modding, it gets addictive :p

if you stick to regular oil changes, let the car warm up before boosting etc it'll be cheap as chips to maintain! as said above soon as you start modding, you can't stop! that can be expensive lol

Also make sure your fueling is setup when modding as that can cause a lot of expensive damage! good luck mate you cant get better then a GT!!

go with a specialist insurer aswell, eg sky or flux, they provide discount for being in an owners club etc so that should help you out alot. and make sure its insured as a GT Turbo and not a gli or something.
