Hks fcd Wiring

Hello, I have looked in the other section to wiring up the FCD however i'm just not quite sure i have the right wire or the unit is faulty...

Does any one know what colour the signal wire is coming out of the ECU? is it a pale green?

Any help greatly appreciated.

and you read the plug from the back

if your stuck cross reference where the ground wires are white with black line

Ok so it's working now although it feels like it stalls a bit when you put your foot down and watching my air fuel gauge it runs lean untill it spools up enough then it runs fine...

Does this mean that with the fcd it changes the signal all through the boosting range? is there another setting to use like 8 instead of 7?

will a RRFPR help with the load when it's spooling up?

Not really sure how to go about fixing this any more help appreciated.

the signal is affected depending on the fcd. the resister type hks alters the signal throughout the range, the clamp type JAM etc clamp the voltage above fuelcut and leave it unaltered below

on the hks unit setting 8 is what most people use for starlets, i'm using 7 as i'm gonna be running 20+ psi.

you're not just using an FCD on it's own are you?

Don't have any fueling mods atm will have a fuel regulator soon.

Otherwise just exhaust, cooler, ss mani, just want it so i can run around 13-14psi....

don't fit the fcd until you've fitted the fuel reg, else you're gonna do damage. :teach:
