HND Mechanical Project

Afternoon Guys,

Currently doing my last year in a HND Mechanical Engineering course and part of that consists of doing a project...

Wondered if any of you guys had done anything similar? Any guidance or pointers?

I'm nvq3 in hvac and mechanical engineering but have 4 years experience in the industry, what's your project on? May be able to give you some advice. I also do alot of bms system and controls.

Im a 4th Year apprentice with an ROV and Tooling company. Really struggling to start my project to be honest. I think im going with improving the operation of removing wheelnuts. As in aids for say women or the elderly.

Project is basically looking for a logic thought path from a mechanical problem to several different but equally good solutions. Also solutions have to involve workings from units studied like Strength of Materials, Quality management, Dynamics etc..
