hi all

i have recently bought a second hand adjustable actuator to hopefully cure my boosting problems . It arrived today but it has a small hole drilled in the the side of the bottom half of it  .

anyone know if this will still work as normal ???

there is a seam kinda bit where the actuator is pressed together. is the hole on the arm side of this seam or the other side?
also, what make is the actuator?

ok will try and get pics tonight ,

the hole is on the actual actuator , not the arm , where the 2 halves of the actuator arm pressed together , its on the bottom half of that

i know it wont be on the arm. is it on the same side as where the actuator arm pokes out of the actuator or the side where the pipe connects?

what make is the actuator?

the hole is about the size of a small drill bit , just around the corner from the red arrow

looks a bit of a homemade jobby to me!?!?

that hole is probably an exhaust for when the diaphragm moves inside the actuator. it has to displace the air somewhere. its not a problem mate.
