Horn Wiring

Since I've put my new steering wheel on the horn has stopped working.

The new Boss kit had a wire soldered on to it which went on to the new horn button, but the button still doesn't sound the horn. I'm guessing there should be a wire from the car to go on to the Boss kit?

Any ideas much appreciated!!

should be a single wire from the car think its black in colour

Is it in a loom or just single mate?

single im sure usually they hang loose on its own and easy to see
could somebody comfirm this not fully sure
also it should run together with the airbag wires

Ah if its with the airbag wires I think its a little loom, I'll take a look tomorrow.

i had a similar problem, i had to earth the new horn on an 'o' ring crimp through one of the studs then it worked

Is it just an earth that needs to be wired to the button?

Also having that problem, the new horn has just a single wire, and the boss has a wire from it, tried hooking the wire from the horn to the exisiting loo, but nothing is happening

when i changed mine - there should b 2 wires.

1 going to the horn switch, the other to groud - which i just duck taped down.

another question is what did you do about the airbag light?
