how far dose a wastegate need to open

ok think i have a problem with my internal wastegate
Wen its closed its at the 12 o clock position but wen i open it by game with the decat on it only goes to the 2o clock position dose it need to open more then this

no that would be fine its not ment to open all the way

no but it should open more than that... if it is hitting something b4 its 90 degrees from where it was sitting u should fix it

but most times ur flapper wont ever need to open that far anyways

sorry i dissagree a std ct9 with std actuator dont even open that much.
infact iv never seen one open 90 degrees

i dunno if i wanna take the chance but its alot of grinding on the decat

from past experience when mine has opened 90 degrees it has stuck, it should be fine, if it wasnt opening right you will be experiencing a higher boost spike

when ur dee cat is off how far dose it open when pumping the actuator ? same ?
