how many litres of oil for an oil change?

u need about 3+ litres....so buy 4 litres (1 gallon)......u have have a little left back

done mine recently and it took 3 ltrs (probably a little less) so when ya put 2 n half in, keep an eye on it!

Can buy a 5 litre container.

Just put 3 litres in start it up for a couple of seconds then turn off, wait a few seconds for it to settle check the dipstick and fill to level on the dipstick.

3 litres is what i use matey, make sure even ground.lol
put 3 litres in and do as other guy said, start engine, then switch off,
then take measurement, and add if needed accordingly.

An 4E-FE (and more or less 4E-FTE) usually has room for 3.2 litres oil
Fill it up to 2.5~3 litres and take your time to get it right. Too much oil can cause problems!

Yer you might have to remove a few bolts from the air con pump to get at the oil filter.

and if the oil filters old it can be a right c#nt to get off, try an remove as much stuff in the way to get at it, will make life easier, its got a cover on it too so can be hard to find looking up from underneath, some guys on here sell an oil filter removal tool, i use a screwdriver, same trick lol.
