How many miles to a tank?

I get around 100kms for every 10litres of fuel for town and around 125kms motorway.. is it gud? Hw to calculate the MPG?

100 km x 0.6 = 60 miles
10 litres / 4.564= 2.19 gallons
60 / 2.19 = =27.39 miles per gallon (town)

125 x 0.6 = 75 miles
10 litres / 4.564= 2.19 gallons
75 / 2.19 = 34.24 mpg (motorway)

From 20 quid of V-Power i get about 230km, mixed driving putting foot down now and then. Mods are cat back exhaust system and trd ignition leads. Seems pretty good for me.

his is an auto afaik.

Na that post was directed at amd1691 the auto returns far worse mpg than that, 28mpg is the average that figure drops dramatically when in traffic or when gunning it. Most of my milage is spent on dual carrigways

Lol I've been cruising mate, can't afford this shit!!

Still heavy though. I need another car for a daily runabout.

Mine does around 200 miles to £35 when taking it easy, and i get 10mpg when driving flat out, and my fuel gauge doesnt work LOL!!

Cruising means 30mph not 90 ;), but if I was you, for a daily driver get one of them Civic Hybrids, like the one I turned up in to collect parts, absolutely ace on petrol and £35 road tax :).

I can't afford something that expensive for a runabout. I'm young, just about to start Uni!! Looking at something like a Civic EG/EK, small but not too small.

I get 100miles off £10 usually. Thats driving sensibly and the odd thrash here and there. Standard engine though really so not too bad.

Hey guys,

How many miles are people getting to the tank? I've got to the point where I'm sick of running the GT because of how much she drinks, even running low boost (.5 bar)

I don't know what the hell is going wrong but I'm pretty sure mine is very very heavy on petrol. I've checked for leaks but found nothing.

For example on Saturday I had dipped in to reserves a bit, filled it right up which cost almost £41, I've done 140 miles and I'm almost empty again.

It's really pissing me off now!! Is this normal? How many do you get to a tank?
i know how it is man, i'm running pretty damn rich myself, i think it might be almost the same as u...and i am running a ct9 hybrid at barely stock boost...still runs rich and i get black smoke....havent been able to figure it out at all....

i have got an fpr set at 42 psi...i probably have engine timing problem also
