how much difference?

im currently running .85 bar on standard ct9 and thinking of going to 1 bar
will i see/feel much difference in power? and is it worth it?

ive got ported mani, decat, exhaust system, toy tuning actuator, relocated filter, and greddy profec b boost controller, but still standard tmic.

ive already bought a fcd just want to know if its worth buying and fpr and getting it setup or will i not see much of a gain from going to 1bar?

I would go for a FMIC before going any further with the boost imo

yes you will if its setup correctly.

i would seriously consider a frontmount or an arc tmic if you can get hold of one

Get an RX7 topmount. It will be fine for the ct9 at 1bar. Also, you will definately notice a difference, I certainly did.

ive seen quite alot of people say on here they have run 1 bar on standard tmic for 3 odd years with no problems.

what about an rx7 tmic?

take the car for a blast then pop the bonnet and feel the TMIC... then do the same with a car with a FMIC

you can probably run 1.5 bar on a ct9 with a stock topmount. at the end of the day it depends how you drive your car. if your boosting hard all the time then its alot different to giving it a quick blast every now and again..

i would definitely get some sort of uprated intercooler. at least an uprated topmount, if not a frount mounted ic would be ideal

if i bought a front mount intercooler would i beable to use it with td04 aswell? as i know some of them you cant.

thats the only reason i dont want a fmic as im saving for td04 kit in next 6 months or so, but if i can use the fmic with the td04 i will get one.

i'm running similar mods with a FMIC and u fuel regulator ..boosted the car to 14psi last month and I can tell you that you will definately notice the difference mate.

To be honest i ran 1 bar for about 9 months on standard tmic and standard filter.

Fitted fmic and got a boost drop to 0.85 bar and also fitted a front mount filter and tbh i have noticed no difference in power, so getting it setup at 1 bar soon while i run around in mine while building my new engine
