How much of a difference does a Breather Filter make..

Very random but its never crossed my mind apart from let the head breather better does it enhance anything in a particular way??

Breathing lol.

On the stock set up its connected to the EFI pipe so its drawing filtered air, so its basically to do that job.

Don't put just the filter on, leave it standard or connect to your relocated air filter or use an oil catch tank with a filter on top.
