Hey all,

Got my rear oem lip fitted but where there was sealer used to bond it to the rear bumper some as squeezed out from behind the lip and onto the rear bumper. Its very noticable as the sealer used was black. How can I get rid of it from the bodywork? I've tried tar remover and white spirts, the tar remover didnt work at all and while the white spirits removed some of the small smudges of sealer it didn't even make a dent on the larger bubbles of it around the lip. Really need to get rid of it in the morning before the meet. Is there anything else I could use?

Cheers.

Its pretty bad.. I think it was fitted hours ago so the sealer is long gone hard..maybe I could heat it up with a hair drier??.. No pics Mike.

The paint won't get damaged using panel wipes or any sort of product used for breakng down adhesive as long as long as the paint has had enough time to fully cure/set.

Plenty of elbow grease and detar should remove
it.
