just a random question but how can you tell if your buying a hybrid ct9 turbo and what advantages do you get from them?

It may have a bigger inlet, but some dont. Its usually just the internals that are different or the wastegate is bigger.
I found you get more poke & boost dosent die off as quick. My tongs hybrid is alot louder spooling than my old ct9 & definatly has more pull.

as above, plus you can see max. of 220bhp with some hybrids and the adequate mods

At the end of the day, if you do hybrid your CT9, it will always have a dismal 19mm outlet hole.
Even if you manage to fit a T04 compressor wheel, the will have to squeexe throught a bung hole of a ct9 turbo outlet. the best option is to get a bigger turbo with 2 inch outlet.
