have asked that before my self, apparently they cause a negative effect on the turbo set ups, if you look at the few performance inlet mani's about for turbo cars they always have really short runners

If your car is NA then yeah it'll improve acceleration. I've always had one on my 4EFE, just took it off to sell it last week and damn, the car feels a fair bit slower in the high revs.

This is because you need a plenum volume at least the same as the engine volume cc.

TOTAL THREAD HI-JACK. Naughty boys. Yes lad stick it on your 5efe its a massive inprovement I have it on mine it pulls much higher through the rev range. Use a cone filter n cold air ducting to it, not airbox.
