This story about Romanians being forced out of their homes in NIreland is on Irish news sites and UK sites. In all instances it refers to "Pregnant women" and "5 week old babies". I at no point see it giving any reason for the community forcing these people out.
This type of one sided reporting angers me. I have no doubt that if these people were living in a manner that was acceptable to the local community there would be no issue. They come from Romania to beg on the streets and steal from shops whilst generally acting in a socially unacceptable way.
I worked in Dublin city centre for many years and used to have to throw these people out of my shop as they attempted to enter and steal. They would then sit on the ground outside with young babies in their arms in the middle of winter begging. When I phoned the police to have them removed they would spit at the police and shout "RAPE" etc if the police went near them.
My girlfriends parents live on a nice quiet street, then a family of romanians moved in across the road. The women were sent out in their gypsy clothing every day and could be seen begging in the city centre. There were very young kids left crawling around on the street at danger of being hit by cars. Rubbish was dumped everywhere and we could never tell exactly how many people lived in the house but it was a huge amount!
One day a yellow English registered ferrari appeared on their drive.... begging must be a profitable past-time.
When I drive in to Dublin there are romanians with new born babies walking amongst the traffic at the traffic lights begging. At one point we had several families LIVING on a roundabout at a slip road on the countries busiest motorway. They refused to move on until the government gave them money. They would jump out of the bushes at the traffic lights and harass people for money in their cars.
I for one am glad that a community has finally taken a stand against this plague on society. The media may call it racism when you let a group of people know they are not wanted in your community but I call it getting what you deserve.
Italy has been literally plagued with these people much like England has been plagued with Irish pikeys who contribute nothing to society except thieving and generally breaking the law.
I say fair play to this community in N Ireland and to all the do-gooders out there and the media who like to use stories like this to grab headlines... if you think these people are so nice and friendly let them move in to your community and destroy it.
