I use the bose quiet comfort 3 headphones. The quality of the sound is fantastic. The noise cancelling is very good (I got them mainly for use on flights). There is also an optional cable with a mic built in and you can use them as a handsfree kit. They are not cheap but they are the best headphones I have ever used.

I also have noise cancelling earbuds from sony. They take a AAA battery and are pretty good also and a more cost effective option.

i had the older CX300`s for 2/3 years they saw daily abuse/stood on/trapped in doors/pulled/yanked you name it and they worked like a champ, theres alot of fakes about so buy from the likes of comet etc

well if it was between bose and sony I would go bose. Have not had much experience with seinheisser (sp) except for a set of DJ cans back in the day and they were crap I went with some nice technics instead which were slightly dearer but infinitely better.

The only bose products I have owed are my headphones and they are a step above any other headphones I have ever used. My buddy has a bose home cinema system and it is an amazing piece of kit, was pretty reasonably priced too. Many of the worlds luxury car manufacturers use bose equipment in their vehicles too.

When you say that they make shite stuff what do you base that opinion on? What did you not like about their products? Interested to know as I was considering one of their home cinema systems myself.
