idleing at 1200rpm at times and also missing/hesitant help please rep'd as usual

From time to time my GT is idling at 1200 rpm and hesitant/missing but only missing on first pressing accelerator fine through revs I've changed rotar arm and dizzy cap and put new denso irradium plugs in a couple of months ago leads are probably 4 or 5 years old

TPS setting and idle control valve would be worth checking.

iam guessing you have to do a clean up on your throttle body. check throttle position sensor as well. if all else fails check your MAP sensor.
Do let us know how it goes..

ohh.. then you have to narrow your scope to the throttle body. that can be the culprit. The TB valve may not be closing properly. adjust the Throttle position sensor and see if it works. cheers mate.
